What to Expect
Ras Airport (code: RKT) has two terminals serving regional and international destinations. Amenities include a 24-hour restaurant as well as a duty-free shopping area. Free WiFi helps pass the time.

ATMs / Cash Machines – Need cash? ATMs are available. Fees may apply, so check your bank’s fee schedule and daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. You may also want to notify your bank of your travel plans. Locations: unknown. A reader tells us, “Al Barid Bank reportedly does not charge any fees for withdrawals from international cards. It is located near the departures board.”

Duty-Free & Shopping – RAK Duty-Free offers 24-hour duty-free shopping airside in Departures and Arrivals.
Medical Services – A nurse is always on duty. The airport also has emergency medical vehicles on standby. If you need immediate medical attention, ask an airport staff member for assistance.
Prayer Rooms – Muslim prayer rooms are available in both the Departures and Arrivals terminals. In addition, there is a mosque in the Departures parking lot.

Bus
Al Hamra public bus system offers hourly service between Ras Al Khaimah and Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, and Umm Al Quwain, stopping at the airport along the way in either direction. At the time of this update, one-way fares range in price from 10 AED to 25 AED, depending on the destination.
Car Rentals
Budget, Dollar, and Europcar offer car rental services on-site in the Arrivals Hall.
