Paderborn Airport (code: PAD) is a small, modern terminal with a few restaurants, a bar, a duty-free shop and a convenience store. Eateries and shops close in the evening, so plan accordingly if you are considering spending the night in this airport. WiFi is available to help you pass the time.

Duty-Free & Shopping – A small duty-free shop (airside) offers limited items; the Airportshop (landside) sells snacks, drinks, and souvenirs, closing by 9:00 PM.
Information Desk – If you have any questions, there is an information desk that can provide assistance. Location: Landside, Ground Floor, Center of Terminal. Hours: open 24 hours.
Observation Deck – For a panoramic view of the airfield, head up to the top floor of the Quax-Hangar. The building has been designed to resemble the wing of an airplane. There is also a bistro on-site. Location: follow signs towards the “Airport Forum”. Hours: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM Sunday only.
Prayer Room – A room of silence is available for prayer. Additionally, there is a Muslim prayer room. Location: Ground Floor.

The airport is 18 km southwest of Paderborn (20-25 minutes by car) and 4 km southeast of Büren.
Bus
Bus routes S60 and S61 connect to Paderborn (20-30 minutes); S90 and NE16 serve Büren and Lippstadt. For more information regarding the bus routes, schedules and fares, visit the airport website.
