What to Expect
Nantucket Airport (code: ACK) consists of a small, recently renovated terminal. Regional flights operate year-round, but the busy summer season means the terminal can get very crowded. Amenities are limited to a restaurant, a gift shop, and free WiFi. There are no pay-to-use airport lounges.
Sleeping in Nantucket Airport
The airport closes at night, so sleeping here overnight is not possible. For uninterrupted sleep, nearby hotels offer free shuttle service. See our Airport Hotels section below for more info, or read some traveller airport reviews for more tips.

Bus
NRTA “The Wave” local bus system links the Nantucket airport to the town center, Nantucket high-speed ferry dock, and other The Wave bus routes along its “Airport Route.” Buses run on different schedules depending on the season. At the time of this update, a one-way fare ranges from $2.00 – $3.00 per person, depending on the route.
