Currency Exchange – Currency exchange is available in the international terminal near the end of the parking lot.

Layover Sightseeing – If you are looking for something to do before or after arrival, there is a nearby crocodile farm called Croc Farm Ivato. It is approximately an 8-minute drive from the airport.

Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport

Airport Shuttle

ADEMA Navettes offers a convenient and economical shuttle service between the airport and several key points in Antananarivo, including door-to-door service to your hotel. At the time of this update, we are told that this service has been temporarily halted as a new management company takes over. Taxis are a convenient alternative if the shuttles aren’t back up and running.

Minibus

Travel as the locals do! If your load is light and you’re not pressed for time, you can travel at a fraction of the price of a taxi by taking a white-coloured Taxi-Brousse shared-ride minibus (known locally as ‘Taxi-Be’). These minibuses tend to get crowded and make many stops along their specific route. Be sure to confirm that your minibus is going to your stop before you board.
