GEO Airport Overview
To help you plan your layover or overnight sleepover, here is a quick run-down of what to expect during your time at Georgetown Cheddi Jagan Airport.
What to Expect
Georgetown’s Cheddi Jagan Airport (code: GEO) has recently upgraded its Departures area, and in 2018, it opened a new Arrivals building. The expansion project is not officially complete, but functioning escalators/elevators have been installed, making the airport more accessible for all travellers. GEO also has new seating and WiFi to enhance the airport experience. For economy class passengers looking for even more comfort, there is the option to pay to access the airport lounge. See our Airport Lounges section for locations and rates.
