To help you plan your layover or overnight sleepover, here is a quick run-down about what to expect during your time at Curitiba Airport.

What to Expect

curitiba airport guideCuritiba Airport (code: CWB) has a small terminal primarily serving domestic airlines, with a few international connections. Amenities include several cafes, eateries, and shops, some of which are open 24 hours a day for late-night snacks. Pass the time easily with free WiFi and a visit to the massage chairs on the first floor. For added comfort, economy class passengers can pay to enter a few airport lounges. Sleeping in Curitiba Airport

We do not yet have any sleep-related airport reviews.  For uninterrupted sleep, you can check into a sleep cabin inside the airport, rentable in hourly blocks. In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.

ATMs / Cash Machines – Need cash? ATMs are available. Machines are operated by Banco 24 Horas • Banco do Brasil • Caixa Econômica Federal • HSBC • Itaú. Fees may apply, so check your bank’s fee schedule and daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. You may also want to notify your bank of your travel plans. Location: Landside, Ground Floor.

Baby Care Facilities – If you are travelling with an infant, there are baby care areas for diaper changing. Location: Landside and Airside in the washrooms.

Beauty Services – Vera’s Hair Salon can be found on the 2nd Floor. Hours: 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM.

Currency Exchange – Cotação – Location: Landside, Second Floor. Hours: 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM (Monday – Friday) • 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM (Saturday – Sunday – Holidays).

Duty-Free & Shopping – Duty-Free and a selection of shops are available to pass the time.

Information Desk – Have any questions? There is a tourist information desk located landside, first floor. Hours: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Mon – Fri) • 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Sat – Sun, holidays).

Luggage Wrapping – Protec Bag offers services in the check-in area. Hours: 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM (Monday – Friday) • 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM (Saturday – Sunday – Holidays).

Massage Chairs – Accessible 24 hours a day. Location: First floor.

Medical Services – If you require medical attention, a clinic is available. Location: Landside, near Gate C. Hours: 24 hours a day.

Pharmacy – Drogafarma – Location: Landside, First Floor – Hours: 6:00 AM – 11:00 PM (Monday – Friday) • 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM (Saturday – Sunday – Holidays).

Postal Services – Send your last-minute postcards to friends and family from the airport’s post office. Location: 2nd Floor. Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Mon – Fri).
