To help you plan your layover or overnight sleepover, here is a quick run-down about what to expect during your time at Mactan-Cebu Airport (Code: CEB).
What to Expect
Cebu Airport has two terminals: Terminal 1 serves domestic destinations, and Terminal 2 serves international flights. Security queues can get long, so arrive early for peace of mind. You’ll find a solid selection of eateries and shops, though none are open 24 hours. Free WiFi helps pass the time. For added comfort, economy class passengers can pay to enter an airport lounge. Sleeping in Cebu Airport

In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Airside is the secure area of the terminal that you must reach by going through security.

- Aerotel Cebu – Located inside Terminal 2 (International Terminal), on level 1, the hotel is accessible whether you are landside or airside. It offers 11 rooms (nine single and two double), which include showers, slippers, a coffee machine, and more. ATMs / Cash Machines – Need cash? ATMs are available. Machines are operated by at least 11 banks/service providers. Fees may apply, so check your bank’s fee schedule and daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. You may also want to notify your bank of your travel plans. Locations: Landside and Airside in T1, Domestic and T2, International.
Currency Exchange – Curex and Lulu Money provide currency services in these locations: T1, Domestic, Arrivals • T2, International, Arrivals • T2, International, Check-in.
Duty-Free & Shopping – Duty-free shopping and a small assortment of shops are available in both terminals. Location: Terminal 2 (International) after security check. Terminal 1 (Domestic) at the Airport Village, behind the information desk outside Arrivals.
Family Services – Mothers can breastfeed in privacy at the airport’s dedicated breastfeeding area. Amenities include comfortable chairs with privacy curtains, a microwave, a sink, changing stations, and more. Location: Airside, Central Spine Departure Area. Hours: 24 hours.
Information Desk – If you have any questions, visit one of the airport’s Information Desks for assistance. Locations: Terminal 2 (International), Arrivals, at exit ▪ Terminal 2 (International), Departures, near Cabin bar ▪ Terminal 2 (Domestic), Airport Village, in front of Arrivals exit.
Luggage Porters – Services are available in both terminals. Rates: unknown.
Luggage Trolleys – Need a hand with your luggage? Luggage trolleys are available. Rate: free of charge.
Luggage Wrapping – Pack & Fly provides luggage wrapping services. Location: both terminals in the check-in area. Rates: Single wrapping 250 PHP • Single wrapping plus insurance 500PHP.
Massage – Let the stress of travel melt away with a therapeutic massage at the airport! Locations: Rest N Go Massage Chairs (T1, Domestic at Gates 4,5 and 25),(T2, Pre-departure near Coffe Bean and Cabin Bar) • Stress Away Massage Shop (T1, Domestic, Airside).
Medical Services – If you feel unwell or injure yourself, a medical center can be found in Terminal 2, Departures Hall, Landside, Check-in.
Pharmacy – K2 Pharmacy provides services both Landside and Airside in T2, International. Hours: unknown.
Post Office – Send your last-minute postcards to friends and family from the airport’s post office. Look for PHLPost. Location: unknown.
Prayer Room – A chapel and a mosque are available in T1, Domestic, Landside and T2, International, Airside.
SIM Cards – Local SIM cards are available at Globe and Smart kiosks. Locations: T1 and T2, Arrivals and Departure hall.
Smoking – Smoking lounges are in the pre-departure areas of Terminals 1 and 2.
Spa – The Spa at Cebu offers spa and massage services. Location: T2, International, Airside.
Other things to do near the airport
If you have time to spare, head to the Waterfront Hotel (across the street from the airport), where you can try your luck at the casino or have a dip in the hotel pool, followed by drinks on the veranda.
Bus
MyBus provides connections to the city and vice-versa, with a few stops along the way. Buses to the airport run between 6:00 AM and 9:00 PM at 30-minute intervals and from the airport between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM, also at 30-minute intervals. The fare is P30 to P50.
Inter-Terminal Transfer – Obtaining a transfer pass is encouraged but not strictly observed. During non-peak times, anyone can take the transfer bus with or without a transfer pass. The pick-up point at Terminal 1 is at the transport center, on the right side of the Arrivals exit, beside the MyBus stop.
Car Rental

Inter-Terminal Transfer
The airport offers a free shuttle between both terminals. You must obtain a coupon from the arrival transfer desk/information counter and present it to the driver. Buses run every 15 minutes and operate 24 hours a day.

Several area hotels provide airport transportation (free or for a fee): Appleton Boutique Hotel • Goldberry Suites & Hotel • Waterfront Airport Hotel and Casino.

Taxis
Official airport taxis (yellow) and ordinary (white) taxis are available for hire in the Arrivals area at taxi stands located 30m to the right of the terminal exit.
