Seriously, would you wear this at the airport?
That’s what makers of the Ostrich Pillow would like travellers to consider. They say the product “has been designed to allow you to create a little private space within a public one, to relax and unwind. Its soothing soft interior shelters and isolates your head and hands (mind and body) for a short break, without needing to leave your desk, chair, bench or wherever you may be. ”
While the Ostrich Pillow does look comfy for the desk sleepers, I’m not sure the photos demonstrate true usefulness in an airport sleeping setting – which would be laying down on seats or the floor. Why wear it sitting up?
Also, if someone steals my bag, the last thing I want to be doing is run through an airport terminal chasing thieves with this contraption on my head. On a positive note the thieves would probably be laughing so hard upon seeing this scene that they might actually slow down long enough for me to catch-up.
