What to expect

Greensboro Airport (code: GSO) consists of a mid-sized, two-level terminal with two concourses (North and South). The airport contains several eateries and shops, with most located on the airside. WiFi is available and there are outlets for charging mobile devices throughout.  If you don’t mind paying. additional comfort can be found through fee-based access to the airport’s first-class lounge. Sleeping in Greensboro Airport

Travellers report that the airport is clean and comfortable, with plenty of sleep-conducive seating on the landside. There is reportedly a dimly lit, quiet lounge area on the landside near security that contains lots of sofas and sectionals. Art in the Airport – Art exhibitions are available throughout the airport.

ATMs / Cash Machines – Need cash? ATMs are available. Fees may apply, so be sure to check your bank’s fee schedule and your daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. You may also want to notify your bank of your travel plans. Locations: on the Upper and Lower levels.

Baby Care Facilities – If you are travelling with an infant, there are baby care rooms for breastfeeding. Locations: Airside, and one in each concourse. There are also family restrooms airside.

Baggage Carts – Need a hand with your luggage? Baggage carts are available free of charge in the baggage claim area. Rate: unknown.

Business Center – Two conference rooms, accommodating 10-25 people, are available for rent. Location: Airside, next to baggage claim. PTI also offers complimentary access to its Executive room located in the terminal departure hall and can accommodate 6 people. Location: Airside

Chapel – Location: Lower Level, landside, baggage claim.

Currency Exchange – Not available.

Duty Free & Shopping – A limited variety of gift shops, newsstands, and a golf shop are available in the terminal.

Food & Drinks – At the time of this update, there are no 24-hour dining options. Food options include:
» Main Terminal (landside): PGA TOUR Grill • The Great American Bagel.
» North Concourse (airside): Starbucks • The Local @GSO.
» South Concourse (airside): ACC American Café • Starbucks.
» Baggage Claim: Vending machines are available.

Information Desk – If you have any questions, there are airport ambassadors who can help. You can identify them by their navy blue jackets. There are also 3 information desks which can be found on both the upper and lower levels.

Luggage Storage & Lockers – Not available.

Observation Room – Watch the planes take-off in the airport’s observation room. Location: Main Terminal, 2nd Floor, adjacent to PGA Grill.

Keep in mind that TSA, airline check-in and baggage drop hours vary according to the flight schedule. Check these hours with your airline. If you are in the public area of the terminal (landside) you will not be able to get through to the secure area of the terminal (airside) until the morning.
