"No. No no no no no. Gary, IN. is no place to be, especially at night. I flew in and out of here on Pan Am. Pan Am. Yes They still exist. They were reincarnated as a budget airline on the east coast. And I flew to East St. Louis (Mid-America Airport, not Lambert). No I am not joking. It was awful. Chicken wing express. Gary has about two or three flights a day, two from Pan Am and one from Casino Express (?). The cops are standing around with nothing to do (DO YOU PEOPLE NOT WORK IN THE CRIME CAPITOL OF THE FREE WORLD?) so they just pester everyone. I wanted to sleep, but NO...the fat cop told me to move on courtesy of a "NO TRANSIENT" rule they gleefully enforce. Go enforce something else...why not go shut down a couple of crack houses instead of bothering me?!? The only nice thing is Gary airport features a free shuttle to Trump Casino. Oh and I got a button that says "Fly Pan Am to Gary." Rumor has it, Pan Am no longer flies to Gary."
