Cleveland Airport
Lasting Impressions....
"has plenty of good sleeping spots. Try the Continental wing for the best facilities." (?)
"A flight attendant from Continental was kind enough to provide me with a blanket and pillows." (?)
"Lots of people were sitting in phone booths or leaning against walls." (KT)

Good times

I've slept in this airport a couple times, mostly by the Continental terminals.
In the main area after the security checkpoint, near where the Burger King is, there are comfy leather couches, but they've always been occupied when I've been there.
I typically find a quiet corner; there are several little-used hallways. Once I found a gate that was no longer in use, and climbed behind the little counter that the airline staff would stand behind. A couple times, security has woken me up to ask what I was doing in the airport, but I explained that I was a broke college student waiting for a flight home and showed them my ticket, and they let me go back to sleep.

Not a bad place, but not great either

"I spent one night at the Cleveland Airport at the recommendation of the woman helping make my flight reservations. She assured me that I could stay in the terminal and would be completely safe. Which was true until 1:30 AM when the cleaning began. I had made myself a cozy little niche in the Continental area, and then they came along and asked me to go out beyond the gate. I complied, though reluctantly because I wasn't sure where that would leave me. So as I'm hauling my stuff down to the end this guy on a people-mover drives by and asks what's up. I explained my situation and ended up with a place to stay for the night. He was perfectly polite - I slept on the pull-out couch in his living room with real sheets and everything! - and he took me back to work with him in the morning and made sure I made my early flight. Going home with a perfect stranger probably was not the smartest thing, but I ended up safe and it sure makes a great story!"
Um, you may want to rethink sleeping in this place

America West Terminal - You can't sleep in the gated area 'cause they close it after 11, there is NO seating, the floor is tiled and cold, there's nowhere to get food, there's no lockers to store your stuff (or there are, but they're in the gated area, which is closed). Worst. sleep. ever."
