"Terrible open prairie winter weather can delay flights out
of Champaign IL./Willard Airport. Considering the fact that half
of the flights out of here use smaller planes (especially many
commuter flights) delays seem more common here. We were stranded
here before Christmas last year while waiting for a flight to
Detroit on Northwest. The terminal is not large, only 4 gates.
The place was clean, has a restaurant, a bar, a few shops, a
handful of car rentals, and a bus terminal. Not much else, but
enough considering only Northwest and American fly here.
Bench-type couches are not great, but allow you to stretch out
and get some rest because they don't have those annoying arm
rests. The terminal has clean, new carpet on the floor.
Bathrooms are average in cleanliness."
