"The Mexicali train station review above is a very old posting. The station is no longer open because there is no train! It fell apart and died years ago.
People are still asking on the travel boards about the train south from Mexicali, and I was a little bit curious too! So, I took a short layover and walked from the bus station to check it out for myself.
Well, folks, you may fly, you may drive, you might walk, hop skip or swim south, but you ain't taking no stinking train! It's a Norwegian Blue. It's stone dead. Bleedin' demised. Passed on, is no more, ceased to be, expired and gone to meet its maker. Its mechanical processes are now history. Its off its track, kicked the bucket, shuffled off its mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin' choir invisibile!! IT IS AN EX-TRAIN!!  Pick somewhere else to sleep."
