"I was travelling from Paris to New York and had a 6 hour
stop at Gander Airport. I wasn't about to pay for an hotel for six
hours so I curled up in a decent chair and went to sleep for a few
hours. The seats were tolerable and no one bothered me. I was
talking to one of the workers there and she was amicable and
friendly and could not care less about my presence. P.S...For one
writer who made the comment Gander is close to the artic circle,
he is sadly mistaken. Newfoundland at its most northernly point is
not even 52 degrees laititude while London is nearly 52 degrees
laititude. If you had a ice cream in London you were closer to the
artic circle."
