""Some friends of mine and I were on a road trip out
east from Ottawa to St. John's, NFLD. We'd just spent the night
partying in St. John's (since we didn't want to waste precious
trip moments) and left around 2am to drive down to the Argentia
Ferry (about 2 hours away). After a Moose nearly killed us about
an hour from the ferry terminal, we arrived at 4am to discover a
line-up all the way back up the hill leading down to the ferry.
Since we were cheap students, we decided to crash in my little
Pontiac Sunbird. 2 reclined in the front and one curled up in
the back. We had a relatively decent sleep till about 8am when
they start boarding cars. Don't worry, you'll either be woken by
the horn or by a car rear-ending you to get around.
Also, even though they tell you that you can't sleep on the
floor in the ferry (it's about a 17 hour ride to Sydney) you
can. They come by and ask you to wake up, but then you can go
back to sleep and probably won't get disturbed again. Not the
best ride (you'll probably be green by the end of it). But worth
a go nonetheless."
