REVIEWS Prague - Terminal 2 ..... Noemi August, 2010 Much better than the forest ^^ I slept in the terminal 2 of Prag Ruzyne one night because it was to rainy and and already too late to sleep in the forest. :) We (my girlfriend and me) arrived at 1 am, there were already a few people sleeping there (but not so many) and we found a nice place at the end of a corridor with no people walking there (and all the shops nearby were closed till 8 am). There were no seats there but a small mattress, some clothes and our sleeping bags made it comfortable enough to sleep.
The cleaning staff was nice, the man didn't clean the ground where we were sleeping on. We saw policemen, I think that they noticed us too but they didn't say anything about us sleeping here.
They were some announcements in the night ('don't leave your luggage unattended'), maybe one per hour. But that was not such a big problem to sleep.
So after sleeping something like 6 hours there, we had enough energy to...
prague - ..... becca1769 April, 2010 cold...cold...cold. okay, it wasn't that bad, and I saw no one with an ak-47. in fact, I felt quite safe. however, the chairs which we slept on were freezing and hard, and i couldn't find anywhere else more comfortable for our 13 hour layover. no one bothered us while we slept at our gate, alone, for many hours.
Prague - ..... tenorjohn September, 2009 Lonely, but decent Had an overnight stopover in Prague airport between Moscow and Amsterdam.
Security were surprised to see me, but were friendly as I wandered into the terminal from my international flight. They let me by and didn't bother me at all through the night.
I was literally the only traveller in the terminal between midnight and 5 am, which meant it was quiet and I had access to anything I wanted. While there were *no* shops open, vending machines provided any food I needed. WiFi was available on the second floor by a closed coffee shop. Slept on a metal bench (no armrests! ) for a number of hours - no one bothered me at all. I even found showers on the second floor by the first-class lounges. Had a nice shower before catching my 7:30 flight to AMS.
Metal benches were really the only negative. Semi-reclining seats were found, but not really nice for sleeping. Clean showers made up fo...
Prague - the newest one. ..... Meyer V. January, 2008 Fairly good airport! I spent the new year's eve at Prague. Nice city. Really far away airport. No hostels left. Besides from the 2 hour trip to the airport (1 and a half waiting for transportation) the airport was pretty good. The benches aren't pleasant, but a McDonalds at terminal 2 have the comfiest seats I could ever expect. No buggers, no annoying security, just a quiet lobby.
PRAGUE - Terminal 1/2 ..... web-administrator May, 2007 Untitled4940 (Contributed by travellingcari) - "My flight from LHR was delayed and by the time we arrived at PRG, it was too late to attempt to stay at any of the pensions. I tried a few hostels with 24 hour checkin but all were full. Not wanting to pay the exorbitant rates for the Marriott/Tranzit Hotels on site, I settled in. A few of us were in T2 arrivals waiting for delayed flights but when I was alone, I went wandering.
Finally settled in the common area between T1 and 2. Cafe open until about 2 AM and then there were some vending machines near check in. Free internet was nice, and general tables and chairs seating. I didn't actually sleep, but passed the hours until I could check in to my accommodation.
A decent place to spend the night when there are no other options."

To cuddle up behind one of the pillars in the main hall works perfectly.. I always sleep like a child. In addition to this, they have wall sockets that you can use for your laptop or other device... and in case you get fed up with sleeping they always have the german music channel VIVA2 on... no use trying to get them to turn up the volume though.. nobody will help you..."

PRAGUE - ..... web-administrator March, 2004 Untitled127 (Contributed by chunk moleman) "after visiting prague in the chez republic for a week it was time to leave. after probably the most hair raising journey to the airport of my life by a disabled taxi driver- who really shouldn't have been at the wheel.
anyway On arrival at the terminal the weather turned for the worse and it started to snow. We got through to the departure lounge and were infrormed of a delay of 2 hours, seeing as i had been clubing all night i setled down to sleep listning to my mini disk player. I chose a bench to sleep on made of savage cast iron, and started my unconfortable slumber. I awoke 3 hours later to see the barrel of an AK47 in my face, and my mates all hand cuffed lying on the floor. I was roughly thrown on the the most horifficly filthy floor and cuffed too, on the floor i managed to identify a decaying rat karcus in the corner.
We were all seperated and...

This was a great experience, had no troubles at all. I slept for 3-4 hours straight. The airport is clean and pretty safe. " Added 16 OCT 2004
