Frankfurt Hahn Airport

Lasting Impressions....

"That night, I shared my waiting with more than 200 people, most of them youths." (mcasfrox)

"The airport was crowded, none of the shops sold anything of any real value to a traveller, and the seats were the most uncomfortable seats I have ever encountered." (Osro)

"Next time we'll be checking in to a hotel." (?)

A few airport reviews from the archives

I spent there night on my way back home, from 8 pm to 6 am. We slept on 1st floor between gaming zone and restaurant. (It's the only part on 1st floor which is open all night). Sleeping is on the floor so we used towels (unfortunatelly didn't have sleeping bags) to lay on. I slept undisturbed with about 20 other people. It's clean, bathrooms just opposite the glass walls. The only minus were cleaning ladies who came upstairs with big vacuum cleaners, which made quite a noise (it didn't bother me but my friends had 0.5h break in sleeping:) Besides, no problems, no people passing by, quiet, warm and nic:)

this is the most shabby airport i've ever seen. it was in the middle of nothing too far from frankfurt. i was there 9 or 10 hours during the night. it was one of the worst nights of my life because i could sleep anything because of the seats which were chairs so uncomfortable without cushions... and all the seats were placed near the doors which were all the night open, so i also was very cold, almost shivering in june!!! it was a very uncomfortable experience, but i would do it again to save money
