To help you plan your layover or overnight sleepover, here is a quick run-down about what to expect during your time at Bratislava Letisko Airport.
What to Expect
Bratislava Airport (code: BTS) consists of a small, modern, two-level terminal with 13 departure gates, and a dozen or so eateries and shops, located primarily on the airside. WiFi is available and there are mobile charging outlets near the gates. For additional comforts, economy class passengers can pay to access the airport’s private lounge. Sleeping in Bratislava Airport
Travellers who have slept at this airport report feeling safe and relatively comfortable. Staff and security don’t tend to bother sleepers, and there are plenty of armrest-free, three-seat benches that may be conducive to sleeping—some reviewers liked them, while others found them too hard and small. Consider a travel mat and/or sleeping bag for enhanced comfort whether for on the bench seating or the floor. For uninterrupted sleep, there are several hotels near the airport. ATMs / Cash Machines – Need cash? ATMs are available. Fees may apply, so be sure to check your bank’s fee schedule and your daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. You may also want to notify your bank of your travel plans. Locations: Landside, near the Information Desk, under the escalators • Airside, Arrivals Hall, near baggage claim. A cryptomat/bitcoinmat is also available in the arrival hall, under the escalator.
Baby Care Facilities – Need a place to change or feed your baby in comfort? Mother and Child rooms offer changing tables, shower, wash basins, toilet, and bottle/food warmers in a comfortable and private setting, away from the crowds. You can find these rooms landside and airside in the Departures and Arrivals terminals.
Children’s Play Area – When you want to ensure your kids burn off all their energy before their flight, take them to one of the children’s play areas. Locations: Airside, Schengen Departures and Airside, Non-Schengen Departures.
Currency Exchange – Currently, there is no currency exchange available.
Duty Free & Shopping – Heinemann Duty Free offers duty-free shopping in the Departures Terminal. A few newsstands and a gift shop are also available in the airport terminal.
Information Desk – Need help finding your way? An information desk can be found in the Departures terminal, near the escalators on the left side of the terminal building.
Luggage Trolleys – Need help with your bags? Available free of charge. Location: Departures Terminal entrance • Parking Lot • Arrivals Area.
Luggage Wrapping – Wrap Point provides services. Location: Landside, Ground Floor. Hours: 2 hours before the 1st flight until the last flight of the day. Rates:5;00€ for regular size luggage and 8,00€ for oversized bags. You can also weigh your bags before check-in for 0,50€ per bag.
Pharmacy – Not available.
Photo Printing – A self-printing photo device is available in the terminal. You will need to download the Fotomat app and register. Location: Arrivals Area.

Smoking – Smoking is permitted in designated smoking areas only. Location: eat&fly! Bistro, Non-Schengen.
Bus
Bratislava Airport is served by public buses 61, N61 and 96. Bus 61 and its nighttime counterpart N61, travel between the airport and Bratislava city center, via Hlavná Železnicná Stanica (main railway station). Bus 96 travels to and from Bratislava city center via Petržalka, Prokofievova. Tickets are sold at newsstands in the Departures terminal, the City Tourist information desks in the Arrivals terminal, at automated ticket machines located in the Arrivals Terminal and at the public bus stop and onboard the bus.
