What to Expect

Kingston Airport (code: KIN) consists of a bright, recently renovated terminal with comfortable seating, plenty of shopping and an easy-to-access food court with various dining options. Red Stripe beer and rum samples are said to flow all day and night, so enjoy, but don’t overdo it! Airport staff and security personnel have a reputation for being helpful and friendly. WiFi is available to help pass the time. Additional comforts—including showers—can be found through fee-based access to one of the airport’s first-class lounges. Art at the Airport – Public art is displayed next to the terminal entrance.

ATMs / Cash Machines – Need cash? ATMs are available. Machines are operated by the National Commercial Bank (NCB). Fees may apply, so check your bank’s fee schedule and daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. You may also want to notify your bank of your travel plans. Locations: unknown.

Baby Care Facilities – Baby Changing Rooms are available in all restrooms in the Ticketing and Departure Concourse.

Baggage Trolleys – Need a hand with your luggage? Baggage trolleys are available free of charge in the baggage claim area.

Currency Exchange – Global Exchange – Location: Landside (Arrivals and Departures Hall) • Airside (Arrivals and Departures Lounge). All locations are open 24 hours except the Landside Arrivals branch, which is open from 7:30 AM to 11:30 PM.

Duty-Free & Shopping – Duty-Free and a small selection of shops are available to pass the time. At the time of this update, the Duty-Free shop was being revamped in departures, and a new shop was being built in Arrivals.
