To help you plan your layover or overnight sleepover, here is a quick run-down about what to expect during your time at Cali Alfonso Bonilla Aragón International Airport.

What to Expect

cali airport guideCali Airport (code: CLO) consists of a single terminal that’s divided into international and domestic concourses. Amenities include a range of eateries, both local and international, and duty-free and souvenir shops. Free WiFi is available in the gate areas.  For added comfort, economy class passengers can pay to enter two airport lounges. See Airport Lounges in the guide below for locations and access information.

Sleeping in Cali Airport

It is unclear whether travellers are allowed to camp out at this 24 hour airport.  We do not yet have any sleep-related airport reviews.  Have a backup plan if you’re planning to spend the night. For uninterrupted sleep, nearby hotels offer shuttle service for a fee. See the Airport Hotels section below for more info or read some traveller airport reviews for more tips.

In this guide we may refer to locations as “landside” and “airside”. Landside is the public area of the terminal located in the non-secure zone, before security. Pay-per-use, Single Visit Passes & Lounge Memberships

Regardless of what class of service you are flying, there are lounges that you can enter by paying at the door or through a lounge membership program. Visit the individual lounge page for more details about the lounge itself and to also find out how you can gain lounge access with just an economy class ticket!

  • VIP Lounge – Location: International Terminal, Airside, Level 2, next to Gate D20.  Lounge Access: Lounge membership program.
  • Avianca Sala VIP (International) – Location: International Terminal, Airside. Showers are available. Lounge Access: Pay at the Door.
  • Avianca Sala VIP – Location: Landside, airport entrance #2. Lounge Access: Pay at the Door • Lounge membership programs.

ATMs / Cash Machines – Need cash? ATMs are available. Fees may apply, so be sure to check your bank’s fee schedule and your daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. You may also want to notify your bank of your travel plans. Locations: unknown.

Chapel – Location: Landside, Third Floor. Hours: open 24 hours. Mass every Tuesday 10:00 AM. Religion: Catholic.

Currency Exchange – Cambios Inter. Two locations: International Arrivals, 1st floor •
Landside on the 2nd floor.

Duty Free & Shopping – A small variety of duty-free shops are available in the International Pier Duty-Free area. A few gift shops and sweet shops are available throughout the airport.

Food & Drinks – Food concessions throughout the airport operate with varying schedules. At the time of this update, we are unable to confirm the availability of any 24-hour dining options. Some of the food options are: Dunkin’ Donuts • Flying Dogs • Juan Valdez Coffee • Kokoriko • La Locura • Pan Pa’ Ya! • Ricuras • Sandwich Qbano • Subway

Information Desk – Location: Landside, Second Floor, near the Airlines Offices – Hours: 06:00 AM – 10:00 PM.

Luggage Storage & Lockers – Not available.

Luggage Wrapping – Luggage wrapping machines are available Landside in the Check-In area.

Pharmacy – Droguería S&S is located on the 2nd floor.

Postal Services – Drop off your last minute postcards to friends and family from airport’s mailbox. Hours: Unknown. Location: Second floor, near Airline Offices.
