What to Expect
Tunis Airport (code: TUN) has a single terminal that handles North African and European routes. Amenities include eateries and shopping, including duty-free. WiFi is available inside two airport lounges, which economy class passengers may be able to access. See Airport Lounges in the guide below for location and access information.
Sleeping in Tunis Airport
Overnight campers report a few long, metal benches for resting. A blanket or sleeping bag will provided needed comfort. For uninterrupted sleep, hotels are nearby. See our Airport Hotels section below for more info or read some traveller airport reviews for more tips.
Good to Know
Several reviewers warn about taking taxis, describing the drivers as menacing and aggressive. Do not accept rides from taxis with broken meters, and insist on using the meter during your journey!

A reader (2019) mentioned that free WiFi is available throughout the airport and that the services is fast! Fast enough for downloading and streaming at the same time.

ATMs / Cash Machines – Need cash? ATMs are available. Fees may apply, so be sure to check your bank’s fee schedule and your daily withdrawal limit if you are travelling internationally. You may also want to notify your bank of your travel plans. Locations: unknown.

Airport Transportation: Getting To/From The Airport
Bus
The SNT buses departs every 30 minutes to the Tunis city center. The TUT buses depart every 15 minutes. Tickets are more expensive as the buses are more luxurious.
Car Rentals

Taxi
The taxi stand is located outside the airport. Taxis are metered. You will also find drivers inside the Arrivals Hall, but they tend to be more expensive. At the time of this update, the suggested fare to the city center is 13 DT including luggage.
