"As you would expect, a pretty tiny airport. There are
several rows of chairs at the one end of the terminal where it
would be possible to spread out for a while. There is literally
no security here i.e. functioning x-ray machine or metal
detector. One other observation is that the Russian built planes
flying out of here don't seem to have completely pressurized
cabins. Once we reached a certain altitude, just about everyone
on the plane was sound asleep. This happened on the Timbuktu to
Mopti flight and again on the Mopti to Bamako one. The pilots
must be used to this since they were the only ones that seemed
to be able to stay awake."
