"This is the most interesting airport I have ever been to.
The staff are so kind as they are not used to hords of tourists
clogging up the terminals, so they treat there few guests well.
The airport is quite small, but clean and very quaint. I was in
transit for a flight to Djanet so I had to wait from 5pm until
7am next morning. I watched the sunset and rise over the
surrouning desert from a small waiting room located at the back
of the airport. I then listened to the sounds of some deep house
music on my mp3 while watching the local Tuareg people
interacting. I felt extremly safe here, even thought the
facilities are not great the surrounding desert supplies great
views and a real sense of ambience."
