""There is a lovely patch of grass right outside the airport not far from a cheap selection of small food bars. I would not recommend planning in advance to sleep there because I was lucky that it did not rain. The food at the airport is expensive. In Mauritius, for many people, a Westerner is not a visitor but a customer."
