Sleeping in Airports

Lome Airport Guide

Whether you have a layover, overnight sleepover or you are just quickly passing through, our Lome Airport Guide is a great place to start planning your visit.  Here, you’ll find information on services and facilities available inside the airport – including details about airport lounges, WiFi, mobile charging points, lockers, 24-hour food options, nearby hotels, and everything in between.

Everything is rush but tolerable and people are civil but dont expect duty free to be open even at night when 3 or 4 international flights are leaving, but its an OK, safe airport – a traveller

LFW Airport Overview

To help you plan your layover or overnight sleepover, here is a quick run-down about what to expect during your time at Lomé–Tokoin International Airport.

What to Expect

Lomé Airport (code: LFW) has a small, new terminal that opened in 2016. Some travellers report chaotic security procedures and airport staff who seek bribes or “fees” for items like pre-purchased alcohol or water bottles, but this may be changing more recently. It seems there are eateries and shops, but we are unable to confirm any details. Free WiFi helps pass the time.
