""The only place you are likely to fall asleep in Hassi Messaoud airport is in the international departures lounge, but that is assuming you find a plastic seat that is actually bolted to its base. I did nod off briefly, only to be awoken by the a loud crashing and clattering noise, as the immigration official's booth collapsed to the floor around him. What was REALLY hilarious though, was the fact that the hapless fellow pretended to completely ignored it, in a futile attempt to save face in front of several dozen infidels."
