"The only way getting there is Hovercraft of Helicopter ( dont use the ferry ).  So sometime you get there early and have to wait.
I took some food from a restaurant in Freetown and when I wanted to get on the plane to confiscated all my food.Said its against there rules.
No water or food allowed on you when leaving the airport to get on the plane.
Just take a few leones with you and give the suckers a note of no value and they love you..."
