""Four of us slept at the Dar es Salaam airport in Tanzania in September 2002, whilst waiting for our flight the next morning. Security wise, it was okay - we weren't the only people there sleeping! There are long wooden benches (not anti airport sleeping plastic chairs!) but these were outside, and we weren't allowed into the airport until we were about to fly. One word - MOSQUITOES!!! I had plastered myself in antirepellent, but I still ended up bitten everywhere. That said, we had toilets, benches, people to watch when sleeping got boring..."
