"The concept of politely queuing up at the check in counter is completely foreign to most passengers" (M. Davy)

What you can look forward to:

  • chaos
  • harassment from "touts and money changers"

"Chaos is the best way to describe this airport. The concept of politely queing up at the check in counter is completely foreign to most passengers and people have no qualms about butting ahead of you. The airlines check in staff seem to almost encourage this behavior by selectively choosing passengers from the line up that they will serve. Even if there were areas where it was possible to take a nap, the constant harrassment from touts and money changers precludes any opportunities for R & R. The situation improves noticably, however, once you make your way to the boarding area and away from the constant harrassment. Besides the relative peace and quiet there are also a few spots where you could comfortably sprawl out for a while."
