"Arriving in Abuja domestic terminal is quite straight
forward and fairly easy to get connection into town. Local taxi
mafia is efficient and you don't have to start your trip in the
usual Nigerian fashion with a monster argument with the driver
about the fare. The price of a transfer is standard - 3000 Naira
into the center of town which is reasonable considering the
distance into town. Departure - Probably the highest
concentration of hustlers in comparison to the other Nigerian
airports. Real crap experience particularly for the first timer.
For domestic flights you buy your ticket at the counter
negotiate your overweight penalty (someting for da boys) and
head round to the departure lounge. Be warned when its time to
board be at the front of the que and dash to get on the plane
first. Your seat may well have been sold to two or three other
people too and if you are not sitting in the seat you have no
chance of claiming it and you may miss the flight if its full.
As for a refund - good luck. Particularly a problem if you are
travelling Friday afternoons."
